1. Overview
Data Desk is a free mobile data rewards app. You earn mobile data by checking in, completing tasks and inviting friends, then redeem it as instant top ups to your phone number. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
2. Data We Process
- Email address required for registration: collected when you register to create your Data Desk account, verify your identity, secure login, password reset and account recovery
- Phone number only to deliver data top ups you request (optional, provided at redemption)
- Device info and app instance ID to prevent abuse and track rewards fairly
- Task completion and points history so you can see your balance and history
- Account display name if provided
- Crash reports and app version to improve stability no trackers
We do not read your browsing content. Rewards are based on task completion, not what you browse. Your email is used solely for authentication and account management.
3. How We Use It
- To create and manage your account using your email for registration, login and verification
- To credit points and deliver top ups to the number you provide
- To send account related communications such as verification, password reset and security alerts to your email
- To prevent fraud, duplicate accounts and abuse of rewards
- To provide support and restore your balance if you reinstall
4. Security
Emails and passwords are stored using industry standard hashing/encryption. Top up requests are transmitted over TLS and verified server side. Phone numbers are stored encrypted and only used for top ups. Access is limited to systems needed to operate rewards never sold.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We only share with mobile top up processors and trusted cloud providers as needed to deliver data and operate Data Desk, or when required by law.
6. Your Rights
You can view your points history, update your email, and request deletion of your account and associated data (including your registered email) from Settings → Account, or by emailing support. Upon deletion, your email and related account data are permanently removed. Deleted data is purged within 30 days except where retention is required by law or for fraud prevention.
