Privacy Policy for Status Saver

1. Overview
Status Saver helps you download and share WhatsApp status images and videos that you have already viewed. This policy explains what the app accesses and how your data is handled.
2. What We Access
Status Saver does not require you to create an account and does not collect your name, phone number, or contacts.
The app requests Storage / Media permission only to:
- Detect WhatsApp status files already saved on your device (images and videos you viewed)
- Display them inside the app for preview
- Copy selected files to your gallery when you tap Save
Your statuses remain on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers.
3. Sharing
When you tap Share, the selected image or video is passed to the system share sheet or other apps you choose. We do not process or store shared content.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information.
4. Advertising
If Status Saver displays ads, they are provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect advertising ID, device info and IP address to show ads. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
5. Permissions
- Storage / Photos and Videos: to read WhatsApp .Statuses folder and save to gallery
- No contacts, no location, no microphone needed
6. Data Security
All processing happens on device. Since we do not operate servers for this app, there is minimal risk of data exposure from our side.
7. Children's Privacy
Status Saver is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with a new last updated date.
